Tabernacle of Praise Ministries was founded in 1995 by Apostle Lee A. Henderson Sr. and First Lady Mona Henderson. The ministry began at the YWCA with a handful of believers.

Apsotle Lee A. Henderson, Sr. is the Founder and Senior Pastor of the Tabernacle of Praise Ministries. A native of Birmingham, AL. Apostle Henderson accepted his call to the ministry in 1980.
